Generic Questions About This Event

Registration is available online (if not sold out) by visiting www.marathonpune.com . Alternatively, you can contact us, and we will be happy to mail a form to you, if the event is not sold out. You can also visit our office and submit paper entry form. We do not accept phone entries.

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund. If you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else and entry fees will not be transferred from year to year.

Under exceptional cases, in case the transaction failed at the payment gateway stage, and if the money was debited but a confirmation was not generated, the money will be credited back to your account within 3 working days automatically. However, please email us with details of your registration – date of registration, name and your mail id and we will follow up to ensure the problem is tracked and dealt with.

If you register online then you would receive registration confirmation email after successful payment transaction. All entries submitted in person at our office will be treated as confirmed. Please Note: Final confirmation/information will be emailed to participants within 1 week before the event.

Please bring a printout of your bank transaction record or bank deposit slip or confirmation email and a photo I.D. to the PIM 2017 Expo to pick up your race number and other items. Confirmation email are mandatory in order to claim your race number.

All participants must pick up their own race materials. Photo I.D. is required. Race materials will not be mailed. Only, in emergency situations where participant cannot attend Expo then he/she can nominate someone to collect on their behalf by informing us in advance by email with details of the person picking on their behalf.

Each registered participant and finisher will receive the following:

  • Race number, official timing tag , Event Guide and T-shirt to be picked up at the PIM 2017 Expo.
  • Water and Sports Energy Drink along the course
  • Refreshments and water at the start and finish lines
  • Finisher’s medal when you cross the finish line
  • Downloadable finisher’s certificate post race

If you would like to switch races before the entry deadline, please email us and provide your request along with your entry confirmation email details.
If you decide to switch races after the entry deadline, simply show up at the PIM 2017 Expo during pick up of your race number.
There will be no change of race category on the race day and if you choose to run in different race category then your timing will be deemed as invalid.

You must be at least 18 years old (born on or before 4th December 1999) to participate in the Marathon and 16 years old (born on or before 4th December 2001) to participate in the Half Marathon and 14 years old (born on or before 4th December 2005) to participate in the 10K Run.

The state of the art ChronoTrack systems provided by RP Sports will be used to record participants’ times at the start, on the course and at the finish. True race times will be recorded from start line to finish line.
The ChronoTrack system uses a disposable tag that allows you to walk away after the finish without the need to have your tag collected. Visit www.rpsports.co.in for more information. The ChronoTrack Timing tag is embedded in the race number. Follow the instructions(http://rpsports.co.uk/Btag-instruction-sheet.pdf)on how to wear tag correctly to ensure your timing is noted at every timing point.
At the expo when you pick up your race number, please check that your race has your correct name, sex, age and ChronoTrack Timing tag number. Proceed to the information table if any of the information is incorrect.

No dogs, in-line skates, baby joggers, skateboards, or bikes will be allowed on any part of the course. This is for everyone’s safety!

Yes, for Marathon race 3 Hours is the time limit for traffic free route after that route will be open for traffic. Runners are required to use pedestrian path along the route to complete the remaining route. Route closure is planned after intense consultation with the Traffic Police to ensure minimum inconvenience to the residents and road users.
For Half Marathon and 10K Run traffic free route will be in operation till 2 Hours 45 Mins time limit.
Finish line of Marathon and Half Marathon at the Sanas Ground will remain in operation till 6 hours and Finish line for 10K Run will remain operation till 2 hour time limit.

Full Marathon and half marathon winner will get cheque and trophy same day, but cash awards will be given on next day . Other Race winner will be announced to the top 3 finishers in each race within 1 week after the event.

All finishers will be able to download their finisher’s certificate on the Results page of the race website within 15 days after the event.

All finishers will be able to view their photos from the event on the Results page of the race website within 10 days after the event.

Please submit email to office.pimt@gmail.com with subject: PIM 2017 Results Correction Request and our timing company will look into your claim. Corrections will be taken into consideration for a week after the announcement of the results.

Lost items that were found and turned in will be returned to the Pune International Marathon office after the event. Please allow 1-2 weeks for transit time and inventory.
